to study inter- relationships among the components of human behavior -- psychological, physiological, and external
environment. The <A HREF="Studies.html">research</A> conducted by the members of Dr. Spiegel's <A HREF="Personnel.html">staff</A>
has resulted in a number of <A HREF="Publications.html">books and publications</A>, including Dr. Spiegel's highly
acclaimed <A HREF="lbltext.html"><I>Living Beyond Limits</I></A>, from which this web site draws its theme.<BR>

Dr. Spiegel's latest book, <I><A HREF="grptherapy.html">Group Therapy for Cancer Patients</A></I>, to be published in mid-December, 1999, presents the rationale, methods, and results of intensive supportive care for those with cancer. It is intended to be a guide for "putting the caring back into health care."
